Review of our new Regenerative Leadership Seminar

Our new Regenerative Leadership Seminar coming to life from 02-05. July 2023 in Val Medel.

"In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." – John Muir

Set amidst the Val Medel mountains and forests, the four-day Regenerative Leadership Seminar enabled a group of purpose-driven leaders to pause, reconnect, recalibrate, and reroute. The transformative learning experience provided participants with insights about their own leadership practice, a strong cross-industry leadership community, accompanied by methods and frameworks to guide their own regenerative leadership for personal and organisational wellbeing. Through this, the Programme established essential foundations for leading transformation towards a more sustainable future.

The Programme was characterised by a collective pursuit to build a safe and just space for humanity within planetary boundaries. The facilitators emphasized the essential need for connections in realising this vision.

“The Programme is a fundamentally transformative opportunity to reconsider your approach to nature-based leadership.”
– Aurelia Figueroa, Global Director of Sustainability, Breitling

Deep Connections for Sustainable Futures
The Seminar illustrated the concept of regenerative leadership as a continuous practice of being in and acting from a place of connection. This process was marked by mutual care, sincerity, joyfulness, and an earnest willingness to listen deeply.

“Its facilitators are deeply thoughtful and caring in their approach which is rooted in a clear methodology and very much outcome oriented while focusing clearly on the present learning process.”
– Aurelia Figueroa

Transformative Learning and Gratitude
The transformative learning experience at the heart of the Programme emerged through the skilled co-facilitation of Dr. Anaïs Sägesser and Dr. Ruth Förster. The Programme encouraged participants to take gentle steps towards incorporating the regenerative practices explored within their own contexts, leaving them with a concrete anchor to the unique retreat in nature. A special appreciation for Dr. Rachel Brooks, who was instrumental in bringing this transformative offering to life.
