As we come closer to exceeding planetary boundaries, conducting business as usual is no longer an option. Companies face increasing pressure to adopt net zero strategies, embed ESG, and address urgent sustainability challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution and waste, inequality, human rights, diversity and inclusion and local community development. To remain viable and thrive in the future, businesses must actively change, engaging in circular and sustainable strategic models.
To do this successfully, business leaders and managers must build literacy, knowledge and skills in sustainability, while constantly adapting to a complex and uncertain world. This Programme provides a powerful foundation from which to develop and implement practical and impact-focused sustainability strategies.

Regenerative Leadership supports participants in developing and strengthening a mindset of regeneration and resilience as they spend five days in nature, away from daily business, supported by experienced facilitators and like-minded peers. This course is for leaders and managers who wish to take action in response to our crossing of planetary boundaries; embed attention to the greater good within their professional roles and activities; and realise sustainable change within their teams and organisations.

For me, the most stimulating (and eye opening) aspect of this course was wading into the concept of “public entrepreneurship” that is about introducing innovative thinking for developing ideas and implementation modalities within the public sector agencies like SDC, a concept much wider than public private partnership (something I initially thought the course would focus on). I really appreciated learning about the design thinking approach, a versatile process that allows us to better understand the issues and brainstorm on developing, testing and mainstreaming innovative approaches in partnership with various stakeholders, including beneficiaries, our most important client.
